I remember Bernice in the lobby of the ER doing Triage for patients coming in.When I was behind the desk,I would hear her talking to them,I was surprised to see how many people she knew and even the ones she didn't know,she treated them all like family.Bernice would always have time to talk and listen to me.She even bought me a chain to hang on my eye glasses.(because I always lost them!) We saw each other a few times before I retired. I will miss her kindness,love and laughter.

So sorry about our friend Bernie. We worked with her at Homestead and Jefferson. We are sorry we didn't attend but didn't find out today until a little before 1pm. She was a great nurse and she will be missed. Our sympathy to all of you!

Sorry to hear of Bernice's passing. She and I were classmates at Duquesne High School and graduated the same year, 1957. I got to visit with her during our 55th high school reunion in 2012. We enjoyed catching up on all our news and the happenings in our lives. Again I express my sympathy.
