Diane A. Malloy, 61, of Whitaker, died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, in Kane Regional Center, McKeesport. Born July 19, 1954, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Dolores (Hlavach) Axelson. Diane was an administrative assistant at National Center for Juvenile Justice (NCJJ) and worked as a real estate agent for 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, James R. Malloy; two sons, Joshua Malloy and Jordan Malloy, both at home; sisters and brothers, Arlene (Barry) Matta, of West Mifflin, Lillian (Gary) Balint, of Bethel Park, Robert (Jeanne) Axelson, of Harrison City, Brian Axelson, of West Mifflin, Barbara (Kenneth) Schweitzer, of West Mifflin, and Susan (David) Mihalcin, of West Mifflin; mother-in-law, Marcia (late James) Malloy, of West Mifflin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Debbie Derry, of West Mifflin, Colleen (Dr. Richard) Strilka, of San Antonio, Texas, and Robert (Brenda) Malloy, of West Mifflin; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Lewandowski officiating. Private interment.
