Judith M. Burton, 68, of Duquesne, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at home. She was born Nov. 26, 1946, in Philadelphia, to the late Rodger Edward and Virginia Lonesome. She was retired from the Allegheny County Controllers Office in the asset management department. She was a former member of Macedonia Baptist Church, secretary for Mon Valley Action Committee and former member of Duquesne School Board. She was the wife of 18 years to Donald Hamilton; mother of LaVance Lonesome Sr., of Duquesne, LaTia Lonesome, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Olahjuwan Burton, of Duquesne; grandmother of Sequayah Scott, LaVance Lonesome Jr., K'Hari Lonesome, Jasmine Lonesome, Shatia Lonesome, Floyd Means Jr., Malaisia Lonesome, Tahjae Lonesome and Judea Burton; six great-grandchildren; sister of Audrey Harvin, of Norristown; also a host of other relatives. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, Supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, Funeral Director. Service will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Archie Perrin officiating.
