SUSAN H. “SUE” (MANNS) BARNES age 90, on February 12, 2017, at home. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica (Denne) Manns. She formerly worked at Manns Brothers in Duquesne. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Guild. Beloved wife of 70 years to Charles D. “Jake” Barnes; mother of Terry L. (Doris) Barnes of Findlay, OH, Sandy (late Paul) Mancini of Kinsman, OH, Dorsey (Tom) Solich of Howland, OH, Carol (Jim) Howard of West Mifflin, Sheryl (Ed) Eichenlaub of Bethel Park and Sue Muha of West Mifflin; also 16 grandchildren; and 12.9 great-grandchildren; sister of Thomas (Esther) Manns of West Mifflin; predeceased by brothers and sisters, Lawrence (late Ann) Manns, Norbert (late Martha) Manns, Regis (late Ann) Manns, Joseph “Sonny” (late Emma) Manns, Howard (late Mary Ann) Manns, Gertrude (late Bert) Kovalsky, late Mildred Manns. Visitation Monday 6-8pm and Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the MALOY - SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300. Blessing Service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial St. Agnes Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
