Shirley M. Schneider

Shirley M Schneider, 83, of West Mifflin, formerly of Munhall and South Side, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at the Palms in McKeesport. She was born March 15, 1932, in Homestead, to the late Albert and Edna (Weidman) Jordan. She was a retired laundress from St. Paul's Monastery, Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, and she enjoyed bingo and word search puzzles. She was the beloved wife for 57 years to the late William A. Schneider Sr.; mother of Roy (Kathy) Shcneider, of West Mifflin, late William (surviving spouse Eleanor) Schneider Jr., of Clairton, and Edna Schneider, of Clariton; grandmother of seven, Nikki Thielet, Loni Gillis, Pamela Campano, Billielyn McDonald, Micky Schneider, Jason Schneider and Cody Schneider; also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and sister of Beatrice Lammert, of Jefferson Hills, and Donna Jones, of Baldwin. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, in the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, Supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, Funeral Director. Blessing service at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Chrstian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Name Church of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, with the Rev.
